English Mountain Press publishes
ebooks exclusively and promotes
authors online. EMP partners with
authors to produce and co-publish a
limited number of nonfiction titles
that are marketed through high
traffic websites and our own
bookstores.
Our titles meet the needs of women
and families in particular.
Occasionally we publish a general
interest book (but no fiction). We
are most interested in authors who:
have established online ministries;
are launching a ministry to women;
and/or who have a growing email
contact base of at least 1,000 to
start co-marketing the book with us.
EMP’s decision to publish a work is
based on online marketability and
the author’s willingness to
aggressively market the book with
us.
We seek authors who understand that

years. She produces

through her company

promotes authors through AuthorPressKit.net, and runs
two large online ministries
with more than 150,000
members and sites that
average 5 million hits per

Many residents of Newport,
TN, came to know Shell as
the owner of Toodles Deli,
but promoting others through
the web is her passion.
Shell has helped to market
local businesses and
organizations throughout
East TN and Knox and Cocke
Counties. She has also
produced numerous wedding
and memorial videos as well
as the highly-acclaimed 9-11
Tribute held at West end
Baptist Church. As the
secretary and new media
director at West End
Baptist Church, she promoted
numerous ministry
initiatives through her

She also created the
bi-monthly newsletter The
West End Chronicle which
was distributed throughout
Cocke County and surrounding
areas.
